Artwork Guidelines

To avoid delays and extra charges, ensure your artwork meets the following specifications. If your artwork isn’t in a suitable format, we offer a re-drawing service for £25.00. We will notify you and seek confirmation before proceeding with any modifications.

Print Artwork Requirements

  1. Preferred File Types:
Vector AI or EPS files: These provide the best quality. Vectors maintain clarity at any zoom level, unlike bitmap files that become pixelated when enlarged. Avoid saving bitmaps as AI or EPS; these remain unsuitable without re-drawing.
  2. Pantone Spot Colors:
Convert all colors to Pantone spot colors for accurate color separation, as required in screen printing. Refer to software documentation or online resources for Pantone color conversion guides.
  3. Font Management:
Convert all fonts to paths or curves before submitting. This ensures the text remains unchanged, even if we don’t have the original font.
  4. Bitmap Files (TIF and PSD):
Suitable only for single-color prints. Artwork should be sized to match or exceed actual print dimensions, with a minimum resolution of 300dpi. Ensure color separation by layer to avoid additional manipulation charges. Note: Bitmap files are unsuitable for CAD CUT processes.
  5. Adobe PDF Files:
PDFs must be vector-based and retain edit capabilities. Avoid creating bitmap-based PDFs, as these will require re-drawing and incur additional fees.

Embroidery Artwork Requirements

Accepted File Types:

High-resolution JPG, BMP, TIF, EPS, and AI files. All first-time customers incur a one-time £20 fee to convert graphics into an embroidery format. This setup allows for future orders without additional charges.

Text Embroidery:

A setup fee of £5 applies for text conversion.
